Peshawar, April 26 (APP): Khan Abdul Wali Khan, president of the National Awami Party, here on Thursday issued the following press statement: "All India Radio is reported to have given a news item attributing a statement to Prof. Mozaffar, president of the National Awami Party, East Pakistan in favour of "Independent Bangla Desh".
The NAP has no contact with the party leaders in East Pakistan to ascertain the genuineness of such a statement.
"I, as president of the National Awami Party, would like to make it clear that such a statement attributed to Prof. Muzafar is in direct conflict with the fundamental principles of the party's constitution which stands for solidarity and integrity of Pakistan.
The Pakistan troops wiped out Indian infiltrators and their collaborators about 300 strong near Golagonj in Sylhet district on Sunday, reports APP.
Two Indian soldiers, link Kamlapati Singh and sepoy Ram Pervez Sharma were captured alive.
Arms, ammunition, vehicles, stores and equipment were also captured.
Link Kamlapati Singh and sepoy Ram Pervez Sharma, during preliminary interrogation admitted that they were captured about 14 miles inside Pakistan territory.
They belong to "B" company of 104 Indian Border Security Force. The battallion is commanded by Bhero Singh. Link Kamlapati and sepoy Sharma, who are in their early twenties, joined Indian Border Security Force together in July 1968 and were serving together in the same company for the last three years.
They disclosed that battalion was stationed in Hisar. Last month, on March 31 they moved by train to Delhi from where they were airlifted to Agartala. From Agartala they left for Gokal Nagar near the border by road.

Two of them were captured alive along with huge quantities of arms, ammunition, stores and equipment.
Any person who causes damage to the means of communication, vital installations or Government property will be liable to punishment which may extend to death penalty, according to MLO 148 issued from headquarters of ML administrator, zone 'B' the other day, reports APP.
Inhabitants of surrounding area where the damage is caused will also be liable to punitive action under relevant MLR and MLO.
Following is the text of MLO 148:
1. Any person or groups of persons causing damage, tampering with or interfering with working of the roads, railways, canals, aerodromes, telegraph, telephone, wireless installations or with any Government property will be liable to legal prescribes the maximum punishment of death.
