It was officially stated in Dacca yesterday that all the six stations of Radio Pakistan in the Eastern Wing have been on the air as usual and are working with normal strength of officers and staff, reports PPI.
An official spokesman described as another typical lie the New Delhi Radio broadcast that out of six Radio stations in East Pakistan only one station is on the air.
The spokesman said these stations namely Dacca, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna, Rangpur and Sylhet are not only working but also correctly informing the listeners about national and international developments.

All the primary schools of the city and those of Narayanganj had duly started its classes from May 1.
The Deputy Director of Public Instruction, Dacca Division, Mr. Kader told PPI yesterday over telephone that the teachers of these primary schools had reported to duty during the last week of April while the students started attending their respective classes from May 1. Such were the instructions issued earlier, he added.
Mr. Golam Mahammad, secretary of the Dacca Municipal Committee also told PPI that the attendance of both the teachers and students in these institutes were quite satisfactory.
Teachers of the secondary schools for boys of the city including those of Narayanganj also reported to duty from May 1.
According to schedule, the students of these institutions will attend their respective classes from May 8.
