Members of the teaching another staff of East Pakistan Agricultural University, Mymensingh at a meeting held recently strongly condemned the Indian designs against the integrity of Pakistan, report APP.
In a resolution passed at the meeting the teachers and other employees of the University
noted with grief that many valuable lives had been lost at the hands of the miscreants

The following is the text of the resolution: In a meeting of the teachers and officers of the East Pakistan Agricultural university, Mymensingh the Indian design which directly or indirectly worked during the extremely turbulent period in the history of Pakistan for bringing about the disintegration of our sacred and beloved country Pakistan is strongly condemned.
This meeting felt that no note was to be left unturned to frustrate the disintegration of our beloved state of Pakistan which was earned at the coast of sacred blood for the very martyrs who shed blood for the very creation of Pakistan which was cherished goal of the Muslim inhabitants of the then British India.
We have our own grievance. We are unhappy at our failure to get what we think is our due share in the economic and political life of the country, and we have given expression to this discontent of our voting for a large measure of antinomy for East Pakistan within the frame work of single state.
But we have been shocked to find the political extremists escalating this simple and legitimate demand into a unilateral declaration of independence. We never bargained for this and hence our profound grief and dismay what has happened. It was to escape the domination and exploitation of the Bengali Hindu particularly the Calcutta Marwari, that we the Muslims of Bengal first decided in 1905 during the British Raj to set up a separate province of our own in East Bengal and again in 1947. We took a conscious decision through popular vote to join hands with our Muslim brethren in other provinces for the state of Pakistan we have no reason to regret that decision. As the majority of Pakistan we have the right to rule and this was well within our grasp when extremists in their inordinate ambition over reached themselves and jeopardised the very nationhood.
It should be the duty of each and every citizen of the country to contribute his best to bring back normalcy leading to country's progress based upon social justice and democratic principles which the Father of the Nation had uppermost in his mind and worked for till the last moments of his life.
Reception camps have been opened on important routes from India into East Pakistan to facilitate the return of Pakistan who had crossed the border during recent disturbances, informed sources said today.
Necessary arrangements have been made for the reception, relief and return of such Pakistanis to their homes. President Yahya Khan in a statement last month had given the assurance to accept and rehabilitate all bonafide Pakistanis who crossed over the border following the recent happenings in East Pakistan. An official spokesmen, who reiterated the President's assurance on May 30, said all genuine Pakistanis, who were forced to leave Pakistan under threat or duress or forcibly driven away from their homes by rebels and miscreants, will be permitted to reenter this country after routine checks simply to ensure their Pakistani nationality.
Indian has been exploiting the refugee problem to her own material advantage in the form of foreign aid and for maligning Pakistan internationally. In this connection India is now rushing her Foreign Minister, Saardar Swaran Singh on tour of foreign countries after Mr. J.P. Narayan failed to elicit any response.

inhuman sufferings, and unparallel, indomitable, ceaseless efforts of the Muslims.
